Our Services

Comprehensive Evaluation
We start with a comprehensive assessment to understand your specific needs and conditions. This evaluation includes a small amount of treatment to help us determine which TMJ physiotherapy techniques and directions will be most effective for you moving forward.
Manual Therapy Treatment
Unlock Relief with Orofacial Physical Therapy. Hands-on treatment to restore range of motion, reduce soft tissue restrictions and reduce pain. Each session includes TMJ physical therapy exercises to help extend the benefits of treatment between visits.
Ergonomic Assessment
If your symptoms worsen during or after work, we’ll evaluate your workspace setup. Many patients experience relief simply by addressing ergonomic triggers for neck, jaw, or shoulder pain that contribute to TMJ issues.
Trigger Point Dry Needling
We offer dry needling as a highly effective conservative treatment for chronic pain. This technique helps deactivate myofascial trigger points, reduce tightness, and support your broader TMJ treatment plan.
Weeks 1-2:
Foundational Phase
Your initial evaluation is highly detailed and will include a small amount of treatment. This treatment is to better understand what techniques and direction will work best for you going forward. After the initial evaluation we meet twice a week for 2 weeks to get the ball rolling. Often we have to play catch-up on months or years of poor habits, tight muscles and other barriers to getting your relief so having this frequency at the start of your treatment is highly recommended.
Weeks 3-6:
Integration Phase
You’ll likely start seeing real change by this point. We reduce session frequency and shift focus toward TMJ physical therapy exercises, ergonomic adjustments, and self-management strategies that support long-term relief.
Final Follow-Up:
Maintenance Check-In
To ensure the changes you have experienced are truly “the new you” I recommend following up 2-3 weeks after your last treatment to see how you’ve self managed without the previous weekly treatment. If you still feel great then congrats…you’ve graduated from your TMJ physiotherapy program!
