Compliment Your Care

Clear the Cervical Spine

Our comprehensive upper quarter assessment will take a deep dive into your patient's neck status and add confidence to your assessment of TMD as a cause of their discomfort. This forms the foundation of our TMJ physiotherapy approach.

Headache

Pain Management

Pain reduction is one of the easiest goals of physiotherapy intervention—often occurring after only our evaluation session. Our treatment approach aims for measurable improvement in jaw pain relief and tension-related symptoms.

Balance

Restoring Balance Prior to TMJ Orthotic Prescription

Having your patient attend a few PT sessions before fitting them for a TMJ splint may allow a more “normal” environment to mold to. In our assessment, we auscultate for joint sounds and conduct screening tests which may guide orthotic recommendations or flag for further assessment in cases involving orthognathic surgery.
